About Us

Hi, I’m Sarah!

 I created Sarah Sunshine’s Pet Services because I believe pets are one of the most therapeutic blessings in this world. They deserve to be treated with the utmost love and respect. My goal when interacting with your pets is 

to bring joy, happiness, wellness, and “sunshine” to every home I enter.

From a young age, I was drawn to animals and caring for others—my family even nicknamed me “Sarah Sunshine”. 

I always worked hard and took pride in being a dependable, and responsible person. 

After graduating college with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, I continuously sought out work that connected me to serving others while still volunteering to work with animals as time allowed.

 In 2017, I met someone through volunteering at the Animal Care League in Oak Park who showed me that I could 

make a career out of caring for animals. I worked full-time for her company, SassyPaws, for two years learning everything I needed to know about pet care. Eventually I wanted to work closer to home so

 I continued caring for people’s fur babies with Wag! and Rover. 

I worked my way up earning the trust, love, and respect of owners and pets alike. When I had extra time I volunteered at the Buddy Foundation in Arlington Heights, learning a lot from the volunteers and animals. 

In April 2022 I took the leap of faith to create my own company, Sarah Sunshine's Pet Services LLC,  

dedicated to serving my neighborhood and local areas. 

I love making sure your pets are safe, comfortable, and happy.
